Design Direction
Margaret is currently the Design Director of Apartment Therapy and Kitchn. As the first hire of the Apartment Therapy Art Department, she has grown the team to 5 graphic designers, 1 photo producer, 1 staff photographer. She previously worked at Glamour, Elle, NYLON.

Margaret oversees all graphic design of Editorial stories: special features, daily stories, and special brand launches such as the Kitchn Wine Club where she concepted the look and feel of the website and recipe book. Along with her staff designers, she’ll bring on a team of freelancers to help execute on her creative vision.
Margaret oversees all the illustrations on site and on Apartment Therapy and Kitchn’s social platforms. She is responsible for discovering new talent, commissioning out illustrations, and managing freelance talent. One of the illustrations she art directed was chosen for the American Illustration Award.
